Vania, coming from Peru, joins Dundonay House. However, the school is in danger as Mr Fox, who owns the building, does not approve of the school and wants to turn out the girls and start a ’sensible’ school for boys. His daughter Rachel is involved but gradually longs to go to Dundonay House. The chance comes when she and the members of Dundonay choir are on their way to sing at a concert in Glasgow and are involved in an adventure in a blizzard.
We know there is a happy ending because MEA wrote a third story about Dundonay House, At School in Skye which we shall publish in 2026.
