Jane and Penny Brooke were dismayed when their father told them they weren't to show jump their ponies. Rusty, Penny's pony, had enormous potential and Penny just knew she mustn't spoil his chances.
But it looked as if her hopes would come to nothing. Rusty was so young and excitable that he was difficult to control. Penny failed her Pony Club Test. And then Rusty broke his saddle and Penny couldn't afford a new one.
