For Daisy and her husband Alec, a long-awaited break by the sea becomes a busman's holiday when a local ladies' man turns up murdered on the beach... Yet in the coastal town of Westcombe it's hard to find someone who wouldn't have wanted George Enderby dead. The married Casanova's scandalous seductions had earned him the enmity of every jilted lover and cuckolded husband in the area - not to mention the resentment of his long-suffering wife.
