New Girls at Wood End is a retrospective connector, originally published in 1957. It returns to the school life of Robin Brent, whom we first meet in 1909 in The Girl Who Wouldn’t Make Friends. In Abbey time we have already seen Robin as an adult. Benedicta and several other characters from Rosamund’s Victory, Rosamund’s Tuckshop and Rosamund’s Castle, including Lisabel, also appear.
