Spine and corners bumped. Spine and covers creased. Lots of pages and compressed page edges are grubby and stained.
Three Go is the book in which Elinor Brent-Dyer moves the Chalet School into a new era. The ‘three’ are Mary-Lou Trelawney, Verity-Ann Carey and Clem Barras.
It is, as Angie Burnett has described it in the 135th Friends of the Chalet School magazine, a book with ‘optimistic hope and joy’. See, for example, Chapter 5 with the ‘form officials’, which include the ‘Mistress of the Inkwells’.
We have an introduction on the Margaret Roper School by Clarissa Cridland, and a brand new short story, ‘The Interview’ by Amy Fletcher.
The Armada paperback of Three Go had very major cuts.
