Underwater Adventure

1985 impression. Illustrated by Pat Marriott

Rubbing to edges and corners bumped.  Spine and covers creased.

The shark saw him and came for him, its open mouth as big as a barrel.  At the last moment, Roger twisted to one side and gripped the right pectoral fin.  Hanging on to it, he was dragged along by the big fish.  He sank his knife into the white underbelly.  Red blood gushed forth.

Hal and Roger, recovering treasure from a sunken galleon, find the creatures of the deep terrifying enough.  But they hadn't expected that the treasure would disappear with no explanation, nor that one of the crew would drown - or was it murder?
